Saint Nicholas of Myra | Annunciation of the Lord Scripture & the Mass Jesus’s Real Presence in the Eucharist and God’s Holy Word in Scripture are the very lifeblood of what it means to be Catholic. Over the course of 7 weeks, we will explore how the liturgy of the Mass is filled with Biblical meaning and come to a better understanding of the words, signs and symbols that make the Holy Mass so beautiful. It will be a great way to better appreciate, understand and participate in Mass. You are invited to join us to learn and share together! Who: Anyone with an interest in learning more about the Bible, the Mass and sharing Faith with others When: Tuesdays @ 6:30pm beginning on Tuesday, November 2. Where: Annunciation of the Lord Parish Hall; 31 First Street, Taunton Week 1: The Mass – Where Heaven Meets Earth Week 2: God Gathers His People Week 3: Be Hearers & Doers of the Word Week 4: From Word to Sacrament Week 5: Last Supper; First Mass Week 6: The Real Presence of Christ Week 7: The Mission of Evangelization No registration is required, and you can just “show up” the first week, however, for planning purposes, if you can contact Greg Bettencourt at geb208@comcast.net with your interest, it will help in the planning process for the first class. | 3 | 4 | 5 First Friday Adoration
First Friday Adoration Returns Fr. David and Fr. Daniel are pleased to announce that starting November 5th, First Friday Adoration is returning to Annunciation of the Lord and St. Nicholas. We are happy to offer this important devotion to the Eucharist and meditative prayer. Adoration will be at Annunciation of the Lord Parish Chapel after the 8am Mass until 4:00 pm. Fr. Daniel will end adoration with Benediction at 4:00 or 5:00pm. Both parishes will partner in covering the hours to ensure our Lord Jesus Christ is not left alone. We are in need of adorers especially for the 4 – 5 PM hour. If you can help please contact Sr. Teresa Silva @ 508-822-0357 so we can put your name on our list. Holiday Craft Fair, November 6, 2021 at St. Nicholas of Myra Church St. Nicholas of Myra Women's Guild is sponsoring a Holiday Craft Fair on November 6, 2021 from 9 am to 2 pm at St. Nicholas of Myra Parish Center, 499 Spring Street, North Dighton MA. Donations for the roll-up table are appreciated. Boxes are set up at the doors of the church and at the Parish Center at St. Nicholas of Myra. We will also enjoy baked goods for the bake table. There will be a Healing Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle on Thursday, November 11th. The Holy Rosary begins at 6:00pm and will include the Sacrament of Confession. Holy Mass will begin at 6:30pm. It will include praying individually in front of the monstrance and conclude with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. All are welcome. | 12 | 13 Mass Intentions for January to June 2022

St. Nicholas of Myra Harvest Dinner on Saturday November 20, 2021 Serving Begins @ 5:30PM Tickets Are Available At St. Nicholas Office Or at each St. Nicholas mass. Cost is $15.00 each- Children 10 and under $5.00 Menu- Ham, Turkey, Potato, mixed vegetables, corn bread, rolls, butter, coffee and dessert. 15 Turkey’s to be raffled There will be turkey raffle at the event, and the winners will be able to take their turkey home. Tickets for the dinner are available after all Masses at St. Nicholas of Myra and there are some tickets available at Annunciation of the Lord. Call 508-823-2521 and leave a message and we can put them in the sacristy for you to pick up after the Mass you attend. |

First Friday Adoration Returns
