Romaria Prayer Pilgrimage Will be at Annunciation of the Lord on Saturday - March 16, 2024 - 11:45am to 1:15pm All churches and parishioners are welcome to participate. The annual Pilgrimage of Saint Anthony will take place on Saturday, March 16th. Leaving St. Anthony's Church at 7 am and returning at 5:30 pm for Mass at 6:00 p.m. If you have any questions please contact: Manny Arruda at 508- 823-6989 or Daniel Almas at 508-823-7734. STATIONS OF THE CROSS - Grade 4-7: In lieu of regular class on Monday, March 18th, students need to attend Stations of the Cross at Annunciation of the Lord at 6pm. Parents should attend as well. Please do not drop off your child at the church. Stations should end between 6:30 pm -6:45 pm and all are welcome, although not required, to stay for the Penance service at 7pm. An examination of conscience is a "prayerful self-reflection on our words and deeds in the light of the Gospel to determine how we may have sinned against God" (— Glossary, The Catechism of the Catholic Church.) STATIONS OF THE CROSS - Grade 4-7: In lieu of regular class on Monday, March 18th, students need to attend Stations of the Cross at Annunciation of the Lord at 6pm. Parents should attend as well. Please do not drop off your child at the church. Stations should end between 6:30 pm -6:45 pm and all are welcome, although not required, to stay for the Penance service at 7pm.

Lent is a wonderful time to celebrate the reconciling love and the healing graces our Lord offers us. Like all religious experiences, it takes preparation. Before celebrating the Sacrament of Penance, one should prepare themselves with an examination of conscience. An examination of conscience is a "prayerful self-reflection on our words and deeds in the light of the Gospel to determine how we may have sinned against God" (— Glossary, The Catechism of the Catholic Church.)
