Becoming Catholic

Video: How do I become Catholic?

What is OCIA?

Formerly known as RCIA, the OCIA, or the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults, is the process through which adults can become fully initiated members of the Church. Adults enrolled in the OCIA receive the sacraments of baptism, first communion, and/or Confirmation. The process of becoming Catholic usually involves catechesis, or the teaching of the faith.

How do I become Catholic?

If you or a loved one would like to become fully initiated members of the Church, particularly at Annunciation of the Lord parish, please contact the parish office. We run our OCIA program in collaboration with the Diocese of Fall River. If you are curious about what the process further entails or would like to learn more, feel free to contact the office. We welcome anyone to become fully initiated Catholics. We hope to hear from you!
